ICON Booth Setup: Rear Screen and Guest Flow
Plan your ICON Booth setup: rear-screen content, guest flow, venue space, power, gallery access and a clear brief for your corporate event.
An effective ICON Booth setup gives guests room to take their photographs at the front, then move to the rear touchscreen to browse and share them. For a corporate event or exhibition, plan those two activities together: the camera position, gallery area and route back into the event all need clear space.
MooMuu’s ICON Booth combines an oak design, professional photography, personalised prints and digital sharing. Its rear screen adds an interactive gallery and a place for agreed event or campaign content. Here is how to make that second side useful without letting the queue take over your stand.
Map the guest journey before fixing the position
Start with four simple stages: approach, capture, collect or share, and return to the event. Mark them on your floorplan before adding nearby furniture or deciding where staff will stand.
- Approach: guests should see where to join without blocking an aisle, doorway or neighbouring stand.
- Capture: leave room for the people posing, the agreed backdrop and the photography setup.
- Browse and share: keep access to the rear touchscreen clear so guests can pause without standing in the next group’s photograph.
- Move on: provide an obvious route back to the reception, hospitality area or next conversation.
Do not assume everyone will use the booth alone. Colleagues often arrive together, and some guests will wait to see their friends’ pictures. Allow for those small groups when reviewing the layout with your venue and MooMuu.

Give the rear touchscreen a clear purpose
The rear screen supports a live gallery and guest sharing. The ICON product page also describes event slideshows, campaign visuals and tailored messaging. Agree which content is needed and how it will be presented; do not assume every screen function will run simultaneously.
For an exhibition, a short, readable invitation can help visitors understand the activity before joining. At a company celebration, the shared gallery may be the main focus. These are planning options, not a promise of extra enquiries or social shares.
Brief both sides of the installation. Supply approved logos, colours and artwork for the welcome screen, print layout and any rear-screen content. Ask MooMuu to confirm the required files and approval timetable before producing final creative.
Check space, access and power with the venue
MooMuu recommends approximately 3 × 3 metres for the ICON Booth, backdrop and comfortable guest access. Treat this as a starting point for the discussion, not a guaranteed fit for every room. The venue must also accommodate the agreed queue and circulation route.
The booth needs a standard UK power socket within approximately 10 metres of the setup area. MooMuu confirms access and installation arrangements with you and your venue; setup and configuration usually take up to an hour, depending on access and the selected backdrop.
Send a floorplan or photographs showing the proposed position, nearby doors, steps, lifts and furniture. Keep emergency routes and accessible circulation clear. Positioning the booth tightly against a wall can prevent guests using the rear screen, even if the camera-facing side appears to fit.
For a busy exhibition stand, also agree where your team will talk to visitors. A conversation should not force the next group to wait in the capture area. Check connectivity with MooMuu in advance when digital sharing is important to the brief.
Separate sharing, gallery access and data capture
On-site browsing is not the same as access to photographs after the event. Confirm who should be able to view the gallery, how guests will receive their images and what your event team needs afterwards. Do not assume a public gallery, a particular retention period or unrestricted reuse of every image.
MooMuu can provide data capture. If it is part of your campaign, agree the fields, purpose, guest wording and delivery requirements separately. Receiving a photograph is not, by itself, permission for marketing follow-up. Use your approved privacy and consent process rather than adding an unexplained sign-up step.
Brief the people hosting the experience
An attendant is included with the ICON Booth hire. Agree how the MooMuu attendant and your own event representatives will work together: who welcomes guests, who explains the campaign and where a guest goes after sharing their image.
For example, at a hypothetical product launch, your representative could introduce the activity, the attendant could guide the photography, and completed guests could move around to the gallery before returning to a product conversation. This is an illustrative layout, not a case study or a guaranteed conversion path.
Choose the pace around the event. A reception may welcome time spent browsing together; an exhibition may need a shorter interaction. Expected attendance, group size, hire duration and time at the screen all affect the plan. There is no fixed guest-throughput promise in this guide.
Send a useful ICON Booth brief
Share your date, venue, operating hours, approximate guest numbers and event objective. Include the proposed space, branding requirements, gallery preferences and any data-capture request. MooMuu can then confirm the layout, logistics, available options and quotation for your event.
Ask MooMuu about your ICON Booth setup. An enquiry or availability check does not reserve your date.
