A welcoming wedding photo booth is easy to find, clear to use and suited to the people at your reception. Guests should know what they can do, what they will receive and where to get help.

The aim is an enjoyable option, not compulsory participation. A few practical choices about the format, location and running order can help the experience feel like part of the celebration.

Choose the kind of portrait moment you want

The Digital Booth is self-service and print-free. Delivery, installation, testing, collection and remote support are provided; an attendant does not normally stay on site. If a hosted activity or printed keepsakes matter, choose an experience that includes them.

Make the booth easy to discover

Place it within reach of the celebration, with room to approach and wait without blocking a doorway, fire exit or service route. A separate room may need a simple sign or a mention from your host so guests know the experience is there.

Allow for the complete setup: equipment, lights, backdrop, posing space and any print or sharing point. A rear gallery screen needs useful sightlines. Check the plan with the venue and MooMuu before deciding where furniture or florals will go.

Discuss access requirements for guests in advance. A clear approach, suitable turning space and a comfortable portrait position may matter more than a prominent location. Do not assume that an open-format booth automatically suits every access need.

Let guests join at their own pace

An invitation is enough. Some guests will want several group photographs; others may prefer to watch or not take part. Avoid promising a portrait of every attendee unless you have separately arranged how that would happen.

For attended booths, the MooMuu attendant can assist with using the equipment and help the experience flow during the agreed operating period. For a self-service booking, make sure the designated event contact understands the support arrangements.

MooMuu does not supply props. People can create different photographs through their choice of group, expression and pose. If you plan to bring your own accessories, discuss suitability and space with us before the wedding.

Give the operating hours a clear place in the day

Choose a window when guests have time to participate. That might be during a drinks reception or later in the evening, depending on the venue, your running order and the selected experience. There is no universal best opening time.

Share dinner, speech and first-dance timings with MooMuu. If you want a pause or a move between rooms, ask how it would work and be quoted. Installation and testing are separate from the period when guests use the booth.

At busy points, consider how groups will gather and where they will go afterwards. Keep the portrait area clear of people waiting to collect or share images where the layout allows. Group sizes and participation depend on the available space and time, not just the number of people invited.

Make the keepsake and sharing clear

Check the print inclusions and personalised artwork for a printing booth. Guests should understand where to collect their photographs and which digital-sharing options are available with the chosen package.

The Digital Booth does not produce printed keepsakes. If you want a guest book or a separate shared artwork, discuss that requirement before booking rather than assuming it comes with every experience. Tell us about your preferences for galleries and sharing, too; receiving a photograph does not mean a guest needs to publish it.

Finish with a simple venue handover

Confirm the setup position, power, access times, collection arrangements and event-day contacts. Luxury Oak equipment cannot be carried up or down stairs, so any lift or ramp route needs checking. Outdoor locations also need specific approval.

Give the venue and relevant suppliers the same current plan. That leaves guests free to enjoy the experience without needing to understand the logistics behind it.
