From photograph to physical portrait
The guest starts at the portrait kiosk. AI processes the photograph into an illustration using the selected style, then the artwork is sent to an available Sketch Bot. The robotic arm follows the drawing paths on paper while guests can watch.
The result is an interpreted portrait rather than a photographic print. Review real examples and agree the creative direction before your event. Detailed line work and faster styles create different results; the most intricate option is not always the right choice for a busy exhibition.
How long does a portrait take?
MooMuu’s published drawing guidance ranges from under one minute to approximately two minutes, depending on the style. That is drawing time, not a guarantee of the total time each guest spends at the installation: capture, processing, paper handling and collection also form part of the experience.
Standard packages include two Sketch Bots. The published guide is up to 30 detailed portraits per hour, per bot, with faster styles available. Treat this as a planning guide, not a promise that every attendee will receive a portrait. Agree the bot count, illustration style and operating window against expected demand.
What guests receive
Guests receive a physical portrait drawn on paper. Digital delivery is available too; confirm the route and any package requirements in your quote. For branded events, discuss the illustration theme, paper, logos and personalised messaging together, then approve the proposed artwork.
What the venue needs
The standard setup is guided by an approximate 6 ft × 2 ft operating footprint, with additional room planned for people watching, waiting and collecting portraits. More bots need more space. Share the venue plan and access route so MooMuu can confirm the complete layout rather than relying on the equipment dimensions alone.
The setup needs a standard UK 13-amp socket within 10 metres and a reliable internet connection for cloud processing. Discuss venue Wi-Fi or suitable mobile connectivity in advance. A MooMuu attendant supports guests and manages the experience during the agreed operating period.
How it differs from a photo booth
A photo booth provides photographs; Sketch Bots create robotic drawings from a portrait capture. Choose a booth when the photographic finish or print format is your priority, and Sketch Bots when you want guests to watch artwork being made. Compare the MooMuu formats by output, guest support and operating needs rather than assuming one is always faster or better.
Branding and optional data capture
MooMuu can provide data capture for corporate activations. Agree the fields, purpose, guest choices, consent wording and delivery before the event.
