Photo Booth or Audio Guestbook for Your Event?
Compare photo booths, telephone audio guestbooks and MooMuu’s forthcoming Scribble Booth by guest activity, keepsakes, venue needs and delivery.
Choose a photo booth when photographs and a shared activity are your priority. Consider a telephone-style audio guestbook when you want spoken messages to revisit afterwards. If you want handwritten messages captured on video, MooMuu’s forthcoming Scribble Booth is a different option again.
This guide compares the formats for celebrations and business events. It does not confirm a MooMuu telephone audio-guestbook package. Discuss an audio handset, its recording process, support and file delivery with the supplier providing it.

1. Start with the keepsake
- Photographs: portraits of friends, family or colleagues, with printed or digital output depending on the booth.
- Audio: spoken memories, advice or messages, delivered according to the audio supplier’s package.
- Scribble video: guests’ writing or drawing on illuminated glass, recorded with their reactions, plus a reverse-side digital photo experience.
For an anniversary, a familiar voice may be the memory you value most. At a reception or staff party, group portraits may be the activity you want guests to enjoy together. Neither format needs to replace your main event photographer.
2. Compare the actual photo-booth packages
For photographs, printed keepsakes and digital sharing with an attendant, compare MooMuu’s Luxury Oak Booth, ICON Booth and black-and-white Signature GLAM Booth. These are distinct experiences, not interchangeable finishes.
The Digital Booth is self-service and print-free, with delivery, installation, testing and remote support arranged for the hire. A large freestanding backdrop is not included as standard. Confirm the output, backdrop and support for the product you choose.
Our guide to what makes a photo booth feel premium helps you look beyond the equipment photograph. MooMuu does not supply props; styling should be planned around the booth, lighting, backdrop and guests.
3. Match the activity to your guests
A booth gives groups something to do together. Spoken messages ask guests to pause and decide what to say. Keep either invitation simple, participation optional and any assistance easy to find. Do not assume that everyone wants to pose, speak into a handset or appear in a video.
For a retirement or milestone celebration, a short message prompt could invite a favourite shared memory. At a business event, begin with the purpose of the activity rather than the novelty of the equipment.
4. Give each experience a workable position
A photo booth needs room for the equipment, backdrop where used, posing and safe guest movement. An audio station needs a position where people can speak comfortably without competing with the speakers. Ask the audio supplier how to check recording quality in the chosen location.
If you choose both, give each a clear role and space. Share the floor plan, access arrangements and running order with the suppliers. Confirm power, installation and collection times, plus connectivity for instant digital sharing.

5. Define the business-event brief
If your priority is a creative visual activity, AI Experience transforms guest photographs, while the Graffiti Wall starts with drawing and offers optional AI Line 2 Life transformation. Neither is an audio guestbook.
MooMuu can provide data capture. Agree the information requested, guest wording and reporting separately from the photo or creative treatment. Participation and photo delivery do not automatically mean marketing permission, public social sharing or qualified leads.
6. Check what arrives after the event
Confirm the file formats, delivery method, expected timing, gallery access period and who receives the content. Download and securely save the files while they remain available. For recorded messages, ask the audio supplier about any editing, missing recordings and support arrangements.
A photo guestbook album, additional prints and a telephone handset are separate items unless the quotation includes them. Compare the complete quotation, not just the headline hire price.
7. Consider Scribble Booth for video messages
Scribble Booth records guests writing or drawing on illuminated glass, with a digital photo booth on the reverse. Both sides can operate together. It is not a telephone audio guestbook, and prints are not included as standard.
Scribble Booth is available now for weddings, celebrations and corporate events. Confirm availability for your date, space around both sides and the agreed video, photo and sharing arrangements before booking.
