How to Increase Event Guest Engagement
Help guests take part with clear invitations, well-timed activities and thoughtful layouts. MooMuu’s guide covers photo experiences, keepsakes and measurement.
To encourage guest engagement, make the invitation clear: what can people do, what will they receive and how do they join in? A well-placed experience with enough time and friendly guidance gives guests a useful reason to take part.
You do not need to fill every gap in the programme. Start with one activity that suits your audience, then plan the invitation, layout and delivery around it.

1. Decide what participation means for your event
At a wedding, success might mean different generations taking photographs together or leaving messages for the couple. At a corporate event, it might mean completed interactions, conversations with your team or requests for follow-up.
Choose the priority before the equipment. A busy queue is not a useful result on its own, and an activity should remain an invitation rather than an obligation.
2. Choose an activity guests can understand
Luxury Oak, ICON and Signature GLAM offer hosted photography with keepsakes. Show an example of the finished photo and explain the print and digital options included in your booking.
For a different result, AI Sketch Bots draw portraits live on paper. Mosaic Wall Live includes an ICON Booth and printed photo tiles that guests place into a shared artwork. The AI Graffiti Wall lets guests draw with digital spray cans, with optional AI Line 2 Life transformation.
Remote or multi-site participation needs a different plan. The separate Digital Mosaic accepts photographs through a QR code or link and builds the artwork on screen, rather than asking people to place physical tiles.
3. Make the invitation easy to follow
Use a short explanation and a visible example. “Have a photo together” or “Add your tile to the picture” tells guests more than a general instruction to interact with an installation.
Explain the next step, including where to wait or collect an output. Keep participation optional and discuss assistance for guests who may need help with instructions, reach or positioning. Ask your event team how the activity will be introduced.
4. Plan the space around the people
Choose a position guests can notice without blocking entrances, catering routes or the main event. Allow room for those taking part, people watching and anyone collecting a keepsake. An attractive corner is only useful if the whole activity can operate there.
Styling can help people recognise the invitation. Keep signs legible, show the output clearly and agree the backdrop and lighting with the chosen setup. MooMuu does not supply props; the activity can centre on the photographs or artwork themselves.
The Digital Booth is a self-service, print-free option for photographs, GIFs, boomerangs and short videos. An attendant does not normally stay on site. Confirm connectivity for immediate sharing, and choose a hosted format if in-person guidance is important to your guests.

5. Work with the running order
Agree operating times around arrivals, speeches, meals and other activities. A drinks reception, exhibition break and evening party have different participation patterns; there is no single best time for every event.
Share likely busy periods with MooMuu. Plan the equipment, artwork style and operating window around expected demand, including time for creating and collecting outputs. For a physical mosaic, agree the tile quantity, build period and completion plan.
6. Make the result easy to keep
Confirm what guests receive and how it will be delivered. A paper portrait, a photographic print and a digital file are different keepsakes. If an online gallery is supplied, download and save the files before its stated expiry.
Sharing publicly should be a guest choice. Receiving a photo does not mean someone has posted it, and a guest should understand any separate invitation to sign up for marketing.
7. Review the right measures
For private events, photographs, messages and guest feedback may be the most useful record. For corporate events, agree any data capture and reporting before the event. MooMuu can provide data capture, with the requirements and delivery planned for the selected setup.
Keep the numbers distinct: photo downloads are not public shares, mosaic tiles are not necessarily unique guests, and participation is not automatically a qualified lead. Review the activity against your original aim and use the feedback to improve the next event.
